Those who volunteer to coach will automatically be selected to coach their own child’s team. If you have more than one child playing, please specify which one you will assume the role of Head Coach for. If you choose to coach more than one team, every effort is made to schedule your practices and games in succession, without overlap. 

Coaches must satisfy all league obligations, which include:

1. Pass a mandatory background check
2. Complete the Concussion Certification
3. Attend the mandatory virtual coaches meeting
4. Be able to attend all practices and games for the season

Coaching a youth sports team can be a tremendously rewarding experience, giving you the opportunity to help young players learn the game of football in a fun and safe atmosphere. Additionally the bond created by a parent coaching their child is one that will be cherished and remembered for years to come. 

No prior coaching experience necessary - as an NFL FLAG coach, you will be given all the resources and support you need to help you succeed.
